“Rustic, yet refined” is how Frida’s Field describe their farm-to-plate food offering, which has inspired this special collaboration beer.
This farmhouse ale was created whilst touring Frida’s Field and has been infused with galangal, mint, lemon myrtle and Atherton Raspberries, all foraged from their farm.
The wild saison yeast promotes phenolic flavours with hints of fruit and spice, complimenting the peppery earthiness of the galangal. The bitter citrus of the lemon myrtle, the subtle sweetness of the Atherton Raspberries, and the fresh kick of mint creates a complex yet super-fresh summery beer.
True to the ethos of Frida’s Field and Common People, this beer perfectly captures the flavours of our beautiful region – the Byron Hinterland.
